Portrait of knowledge transfer practices of researchers at the Université de Montréal

This project builds on a study conducted in 2007-2008 that was intended to define the way of supporting KT activities of researchers in the humanities and social sciences of the Université de Montréal1. The results of this study made it possible to document the needs of more than 200 researchers with respect to KT. However, since only researchers in the humanities and social sciences were targeted, and since only those with a favourable attitude toward KT agreed to participate in it, the results of the study could not be used to create a general portrait of KT practices within the institution. That is precisely the goal of this study. It includes some 1,300 researchers at the Université de Montréal in order to reveal the specific links between the various KT practices and the research area of the participants.
