Chantale Mailhot, Ph. D.
I am Associate Professor of management at the HEC Montréal. I am interested in social innovation and more particularly in interactions between the academic community and socio-economic communities (companies, public agencies, groups with social objectives, etc.). My projects involve such areas as the new roles of the university in the knowledge economy, the use of academic knowledge in management, practices of management and coordination in business-university partnerships and inter-organizational collaborations to solve social problems. I am also interested in the management of social innovation projects, the research production processes and processes of inclusion of the public (citizens, patients, etc.) in decision-making (discussion forums, roundtables, etc.). Professionally, I have specialized in management skills training, decision-making and controversial issue management.
